Who Quore fits well

Quore's PMS list is the clearest signal. ChoiceADVANTAGE and IHG Concerto are brand systems, and HotelKey and SkyTouch-HOS are on the list too. A hotel on one of those four gets a live connection that most independent-focused tools do not offer.

  • Branded hotels on one of the four PMSs it names.
  • Management companies that want one platform across many hotels, priced around the company.
  • Teams that want more than maintenance in one place: inventory counts, CapEx requests and approvals, and guest messaging as a premium product.
  • Teams that prefer native apps from the App Store and Google Play.

Why independent hotels look at alternatives

None of this is a fault in Quore. These are the questions that come up when an independent hotel compares.

  • The PMS is not on the listMany independent hotels run Cloudbeds, Mews or Apaleo. None of them is among the four PMS connections on Quore's integrations page. Without a PMS link, maintenance software does not know which rooms are occupied or who arrives today.
  • A price before the first callQuore publishes an average and quotes each hotel. Some owners prefer to see the price on the page and decide without a sales conversation.
  • No annual commitmentQuore starts with a 1-year agreement. A small hotel trying software for the first time may want to stop after a month if the team does not take to it.
  • Trying it firstA trial with your own rooms and a week of real jobs shows more than a demo. Quore's pricing page does not mention one.

The alternatives, side by side

These are the options an independent hotel usually ends up comparing. Facts are from each vendor's own site, checked on November 3, 2026. The full table with sources is on the hotel maintenance software comparison.

Turndown

Maintenance software for independent hotels, resorts and villa collections of roughly 20 to 150 rooms. Work orders, equipment with preventive maintenance plans, a room board that holds a room out of order while its repair is open, guest requests from a QR code in each room, and a shift logbook. Every Monday it sends owners and managers an automatic review of the backlog, with a suggested owner and next step for each overdue job. Fits a hotel on Cloudbeds, Mews or Apaleo that wants to set itself up in an afternoon and pay month to month.

HelloShift

Priced per room with published rates and a 40-room minimum, with separate staff and guest plans. Its preventive maintenance module is in the Staff and Pro plans. Fits a hotel that wants guest messaging and staff tools from one vendor, on one of the many PMSs it lists. HelloShift pricing.

hotelkit

A platform for hotel teams that covers communication, housekeeping checklists and inspections, and facility management with assets, repairs and automated preventive maintenance. Its FAQ says it is available in 32 languages. Fits hotels with multilingual teams and European PMSs such as Protel or SIHOT. hotelkit FAQ.

Flexkeeping

Housekeeping, maintenance, collaboration and quality assurance suites, plus guest service management. Flexkeeping is now part of Mews. Fits a hotel on Mews that wants housekeeping and maintenance closely tied to the PMS. More in Flexkeeping alternatives.

Turndown is not the cheaper option against Quore's published average. What it offers instead is a price you can see, no annual contract, a trial you start yourself, and connections to the cloud PMSs many independent hotels use. If your team needs inventory counts or CapEx approvals inside the same tool, Turndown does not do those.

When Quore is the better choice

  • Your hotel runs ChoiceADVANTAGE, IHG Concerto, HotelKey or SkyTouch, and you want a live connection to it.
  • You are a management company and want one platform, priced around your portfolio, across all your hotels.
  • You want inventory, CapEx and guest messaging from the same vendor.
  • Your team prefers native apps from the app stores.
  • A one-year agreement is not a concern, and a lower average monthly price matters more.

How to decide in two weeks

  1. Write down your PMS and your must-haves. Usually that is the PMS link, guest requests and preventive maintenance. Leave the nice-to-haves off.
  2. Shortlist two products that name your PMS. Ask each for the price for your room count and the contract terms in writing.
  3. Run a real week in each. Load your rooms, the equipment in them and a handful of preventive plans. Ask the engineer, a housekeeper and the night auditor to report real problems from their own phones.
  4. Look at what happened to the jobs. How many were reported, how many closed, and how easy was it to see what was overdue on Friday?
  5. Check the exit. Ask how you export your data if you leave. In Turndown, owners can export everything at any time as CSV files plus photos in one ZIP.

To see Turndown with a week of work already in it, open the demo hotel. The product page and the page on maintenance software for small hotels explain how it works and what it costs.

Questions

How much does Quore cost?

Quore's pricing page gives an average of $171 per month and says the price depends on factors such as room count and brand or management company. Add-ons and custom integrations may cost extra. It requires a 1-year subscription agreement, after which the contract moves to month to month.

What PMS does Quore integrate with?

Quore's integrations page lists four PMS connections: ChoiceADVANTAGE, IHG Concerto, HotelKey and SkyTouch-HOS. It also lists guest messaging integrations. Ask Quore directly if your PMS is not on that list.

What is a good Quore alternative for a hotel on Cloudbeds, Mews or Apaleo?

Look for a product that names your PMS. Turndown connects to Cloudbeds, Mews and Apaleo, as do Flexkeeping and hotelkit for some of them, and HelloShift lists Cloudbeds and Mews among 38 PMS connections. Try two of them with your own rooms before deciding.

Does Turndown cost less than Quore?

Not always. Quore's published average is $171 per month, and Turndown is $299 per property per month. The difference is in the terms: Turndown has a published price, a 14-day trial with no card and no annual contract, while Quore quotes each hotel and starts with a 1-year agreement.

Can Turndown work with ChoiceADVANTAGE or Concerto?

Not through a direct connection. Turndown can read arrivals and departures from a CSV export of any PMS, but nothing is written back. A branded hotel that needs a live link to a brand PMS should look at products that name it.
